🃏 HOW THE POKER RUN WORKS
The poker portion of this event is 100% luck based.
There will be 5 stops throughout the Canyon Run. At each stop, every registered player will randomly draw one card from the deck.
After each card is drawn, it will be documented, placed back into the deck, and the deck will be reshuffled before the next person draws. This means every rider has the same chance of drawing every card on every draw.
Because every card goes back into the deck and is reshuffled after each pick, it is possible for riders to draw the same cards or even end up with the same 5-card hand.
It also means combinations can happen that normally wouldn’t be possible when dealing from a traditional deck without replacement.
As with poker games that use wild cards, a 5 of a Kind is possible — and for this event, 5 of a Kind is the highest-ranking hand. A 5 of a Kind beats a Royal Flush.
After all 5 stops, your five documented cards make up your final poker hand.
✊✋✌️ TIE-BREAKER
If 2 or 3 riders end up with the same hand and a tie affects 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, the tied riders will settle it with a best-of-3 Rock-Paper-Scissors showdown.
The Rock-Paper-Scissors rounds will determine the final placement of the tied riders.

🥇 1st Place — Best 5-Card Hand
• Angry Stuntz 12 Bar or Pair of Rear Sets

The 1st Place cash-out amount will depend solely on the total number of registered players. The more riders who register, the larger the available cash-out prize.
🥈 2nd Place
• $100 DHM Gift Card
• Cash-out option available
The 2nd Place cash-out amount will also depend solely on the total number of registered players.
🥉 3rd Place
• Double the $20 buy-in — $40

The Slow Drag Competition is open to everyone attending the event — you do not have to be registered for the Poker Run to compete.
